\/><\/p>\n<p>During the week, I&#8217;m usually up really early trying to get a little blog work finished before work. &nbsp;Blogging may seem like an easy thing from an outside point of view, but there is sooo much work that goes into it. &nbsp;Sometimes I get so caught up in working on the blog that I have a habit of just grabbing something quick and easy on my way out the door.<\/p>\n<p>One of my favorite quick and easy breakfasts to take on the go? &nbsp;Smoothies. &nbsp;They&#8217;re seriously so easy. &nbsp;You literally toss everything into a blender, blend, pour it into a cup, and go. &nbsp;That&#8217;s my kind of breakfast.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3459\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s peanut butter mocha smoothie recipe calls for simple ingredients, most of which you probably already have on hand. &nbsp;You&#8217;ll start with&nbsp;a frozen banana. &nbsp;I always peel, slice, and freeze any extra ripe bananas I have at the end of the week to keep on hand for smoothies. &nbsp;The frozen banana sweetens the smoothie and makes it thicker and more delicious!<\/p>\n<p>To keep the smoothie on the lighter side, I also used some Dannon Oikos Vanilla Triple Zero Greek Nonfat Yogurt, unsweetened cocoa powder, almond milk (any kind of milk will work!), Jif Peanut Powder, instant coffee granules, and a little bit of honey to naturally sweeten it a little more.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Jif Peanut Powder&nbsp;has 85% less fat than traditional peanut butter and is great for baking and using in smoothies. &nbsp;The yogurt I prefer to use is&nbsp;Dannon Oikos Vanilla Triple Zero Greek Nonfat Yogurt, it&#8217;s&nbsp;by far my favorite yogurt because it has&nbsp;0 fat, 0 added sugar* and 0 artificial sweetners &#8211; plus 15g of protein per 5.3oz container.<\/p>\n<p>Each week when Josh and I make our grocery trip to Walmart, we always stock up on their yogurt and it&#8217;s always gone by the end of the week!<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll add everything into the blender and blend until smooth! &nbsp;Speaking of blenders, I&#8217;ve used an Oster blender for several years and love it because they&#8217;re \/><\/p>\n<p>Once it&#8217;s all blended up, pour it into a glass, and enjoy! &nbsp;I love adding in some extra chocolate chips because a little extra chocolate never hurts. &nbsp;Right?!<\/p>\n<p>The instant coffee granules give it that coffee flavor without having to brew any coffee and adds a little boost to your smoothie. &nbsp;If you&#8217;re not a fan of coffee or making it for your family,
