Here&#8217;s exactly what you will need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>All-purpose flour:&nbsp;<\/strong>Be sure to spoon and level the flour when measuring it. If you scoop it straight from the bag, you&#8217;ll compact the flour and measure out too much by mistake.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Granulated sugar:&nbsp;<\/strong>These cookies are sweet, but not overly so. I typically shape mine into logs that are 8 inches long and 3 to 4 inches wide.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bake the cookie dough logs:&nbsp;<\/strong>The logs need to be baked just until the tops are set and the edges are lightly browned.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Slice the logs diagonally:&nbsp;<\/strong>I prefer using a serrated knife to cut the logs into 1-inch slices. I typically slice off the ends, then slice each log into seven pieces.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bake the cookies a second time:&nbsp;<\/strong>This is how biscotti develop their signature crunchy texture!
