If you&#8217;re not familiar with how to do this, I have a full post all about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livewellbakeoften.com\/how-to-blind-bake-a-pie-crust\/\">how to blind bake pie crust<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While this is an extra step, it does help to ensure that the bottom of your pie stays crisp and doesn&#8217;t turn out soggy.<\/p>\n<p>Once the crust has been partially baked, you can move onto the pie filling:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cook the sweet&nbsp;potatoes:&nbsp;<\/strong>Place sweet potato cubes into a medium pot and cover with cold water. In fact, for the best sweet potato pie I recommend making this recipe the night before you plan on serving it.
