It&#8217;s similar to my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livewellbakeoften.com\/baked-cinnamon-sugar-donut-holes\/\">baked donut hole recipe<\/a>, but thicker so that it&#8217;s easier to fry. Before making the batter, you will also want to heat 3 to 4 cups of canola oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s how the batter is made:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol class=\"wprm-recipe-instructions\">\n<li id=\"wprm-recipe-24757-step-0-0\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">In a large bowl, mix together the diced apples and lemon juice.
